About Me

I am a research scientist at Reality Labs, Meta (Facebook).

As my Ph.D. thesis work at Georgia Tech shows, I actively worked on deep learning accelerators with flexible dataflow and mappings based on data- and communication-centric approaches. I was the main developer of MAERI, a flexible DNN accelerator, and MAESTRO , an analytical performance/cost model of DNN accelerators. My thesis was recognized at 2021 ACM SIGARCH/IEEE CS TCCA Outstanding Dissertation Award with an Honorable Mention.

My latest CV is available via this link: CV.

News: I will join the EECS department at UCI as an assistant professor in January, 2023. I am looking for a PhD student who has strong interests in efficient, effective, and secure ML system design with relative backgrounds (ML model / system software / compiler / ML accelerator). The admitted PhD student will join UCI in Fall 2023. Please contact me via email if you are interested in the opportunity.
